In 1998 the Partners of Jackson McDonald moved the firm to a corporate governance model.
John was appointed the inaugural Chief Executive Officer.
In addition, the Partnership delegated authority for policy development to an elected Board of Management to whom the Chief Executive Officer reports.
The Chief Executive Officer's role includes the development and implementation of the firm’s long term strategic plan. As Chief Executive Officer, John has the power and authority to direct all the business affairs of the firm and its associated entities.
John has over 30 years experience in professional service firms, 19 of these being with multi-national chartered accountancy firms. He has a strong background in finance, but has a particular interest in strategic planning, organisational behaviour, change management, marketing and training.
