Former Chairman raises $10,000 for Juvenile Diabetes2 April 2012
Graham Goerke, Partner and former Chairman of Jackson McDonald, faced his fears and took the plunge from a perfectly sound plane to raise money for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.
Graham agreed to jump if Jackson McDonald staff raised a minimum of $5,000. All money raised was agreed to be donated to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF) and research for type 1 Diabetes. Throughout March, a number of activities were held to raise awareness about juvenile diabetes and contribute to our $5,000 target. Graham made the jump on Saturday, 31st March.
Graham remained the highest fundraiser throughout the build-up to the event (and top of the JDRF “Hero Meter”), raising $10,000.
