Jackson McDonald - Winner of the Guide Dog Corporate Challenge30 April 2012
One of Jackson McDonald’s core values is its commitment to the community which includes charitable groups and specific community programmes.
We have a dedicated staff Community Committee responsible for managing the firm’s community work; including fund raising, volunteering activities and developing ongoing support relationships with our community partners.
It is important to Jackson McDonald that the firm supports disadvantaged groups within our community and embraces matters that are important to our staff. On average we sponsor, fund raise or volunteer for around 24 charities per year.
A big thank you goes out to our 20 volunteers who came into work in the wee hours of Wednesday, 25 April 2012 to participate in the Guide Dog Corporate Challenge. Our team raised a total of $4,797.45 for the Guide Dogs in the street appeal and won the 2012 Guide Dog Corporate Challenge Trophy.
The street appeal leader board results are:
- Jackson McDonald
- King & Wood Mallesons
- Allens Linklaters
- KT Pipelines
- Entity Solutions
A special thanks to the coordinators of this particular event – Kathryn Doyle and Tim Clayton – who did a fantastic job.
