Jackson McDonald has a long and proud history in providing legal services to the business community in Australia.  The firm has grown from strength to strength and now has 27 partners and over 180 staff offering a full range of commercial legal services.

Established over 87 years ago the firm originated from the union of two Western Australian law firms - Nairn & McDonald and Jackson Leake & Co.  The firm’s name was shortened firstly to “Jackson McDonald & Co.” in 1969 and then further simplified to “Jackson McDonald” in 1985.

The firm has embraced change and has in place sophisticated technology to assist our lawyers to practice law in a dynamic and changing legal and commercial environment. We also acknowledge our founding partners and the rich history that the firm has been built upon.
