We have a full-time or part-time permanent opportunity for a Legal Assistant to join our supportive team based in Perth.
As one of our Legal Assistants, your duties will include:
General Administration including word processing, document creation, filing, organising couriers, etc.
Matter related processing including opening and closing matters, client billing, data and system searches, creating engagement letters, trust statements, document lodgement.
Practice Support including diary management, practice administration and scheduling appointments.
Client Services including answering client phone calls, managing events, assisting with client portals, reporting and new client onboarding.

We are looking for someone who is able to transition well when faced with change, is energetic, eager to learn and is committed to delivering quality work and service to our lawyers and clients.
The successful candidate will have:
Excellent time management and organisational skills
Demonstrated ability to be proactive, have good level of initiative and a strong work ethic
Ability to prioritise work in a busy practice and meet deadlines.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Self-motivated with a high attention to detail
Professional client and customer service skills and experience
Good computer literacy, especially in technology and system skills and Microsoft Office
Previous experience working in a legal or professional office environment would be advantageous.
