Organisational Development Advisor

The People and Development Team has a fantastic opportunity for a skilled and experienced Organisational Development Advisor to join our team.

The successful individual will work with the team to drive the continuous improvement of our values-based culture programs for our employees. Key Responsibilities

1. End-to-End Project Management of Organisational Development Initiatives

  • Deliver functional programs across the employee life cycle, including (but not limited to) inductions, culture initiatives, talent retention and attraction strategies, and employee engagement.
  • Specific programs of work could include:
    • Psychosocial risk mitigation with a focus on culture.
    • Collaborating with existing forums to contribute to an inclusion and diversity strategy.
    • A Respect at Work program.
    • Leadership Development Programs, including mentoring programs.
    • Culture surveys, pulse checks, and employee engagement initiatives and metrics.
  • Use an established project management framework to track and deliver projects on time and on target.

2. Stakeholder Engagement

  • Collaborate and engage across the firm to support organisational development change programs and workforce strategies that promote performance, culture, and leadership capability.

3. Change Management

  • Identify and develop change strategies (including appropriate communication strategies) to manage stakeholder resistance through organisational development change programs and initiatives.

4. Data Analysis

  • Review, interpret, and communicate complex data sets and reports to stakeholders, facilitating pragmatic next steps and actions for implementation — encouraging a data-driven decision-making approach.

5. Administration

  • Manage general administration across the function as necessary.
  • Attend team meetings and manage consequent administration.
  • Undertake other duties as required.

Skills and Experience

To be successful in this position, you will have the following skills and experience:

  1. Experience in a similar role, ideally within a professional services practice with exposure to employee engagement, capability development, talent management, and leadership coaching.
  2. Ideally 2+ years’ experience in a similar environment (preferably professional services).
  3. Degree or relevant experience in related fields such as Human Resources, Organisational Development, Learning and Development, and/or Organisational Psychology.
  4. Knowledge in data analytics, preferably HR data.
  5. Knowledge and/or experience in project management and/or planning skills with demonstrated ability to deliver projects on time and on budget.
  6. A strong interest in and focus on creating psychologically healthy and safe workplaces, and motivated/passionate about creating an inclusive environment.
  7. Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence at all levels of the business, coupled with facilitation and presentation skills.
  8. Comfortable working in a dynamic and deadline-driven environment.
  9. Ability to build collaborative and functional relationships across a diverse range of stakeholders to achieve organisational development objectives and deliverables.
  10. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to think outside the box.
