Alex has practised insurance law for more than 25 years. He acts for corporates, national insurers and international insurers in the defence of personal injury claims as well as product and property claims.
In addition to defence work, Alex delivers presentations to corporate clients, insurers and brokers on recent case law developments, and legislative updates. He has also been asked to prepare submissions to government agencies in respect of legislative reforms and their impact on various stakeholder groups.
Alex’s approach is always to identify early resolution strategies and, should a matter not be suitable for early resolution, then a cost-effective strategy is developed for defending the matter at trial.
