Lance is experienced in all aspects of property law and acts for property developers, local governments, energy infrastructure businesses and major retailers with an emphasis on property acquisitions and disposals, leasing (office, industrial, energy infrastructure and retail) and property development.
He advises clients across all stages of the property transaction cycle from the preparation of term sheets and undertaking due diligence, through to the drafting and negotiation of options, sale contracts, development agreements and project delivery agreements, as well as attending to complex settlements.
Lance also advises in leasing transactions, with a particular focus on anchor tenants, large owners and energy infrastructure businesses.
He advises local governments on urban renewal and community activation projects, the development and management of integrated sporting and community facilities and the management and disposal of retirement villages and aged care facilities. He has a strong understanding of the legislative regimes that apply to the local government sector.
