Ruth has practised insurance law since 2000, specialising in in workers’ compensation, public liability and motor vehicle accident matters. She has acted for and appeared on behalf of insurers and insureds in the Western Australian Magistrates Court, District Court and at WorkCover.
For the past decade, Ruth has focused on motor vehicle accident claims and is well versed in all aspects of these claims, including complex liability, causation and economic loss issues. Ruth pays close attention to detail, identifying relevant issues and providing clear advice to clients on strategy at every stage of a matter.
Ruth has experience in advising on policy indemnity, liability, quantum, recovery avenues and claims strategy. She has assisted in preparation for trial in a number of matters in the District Court.
