About the role
This opportunity is for a disputes lawyer to work within our Construction team focusing on “back end” construction disputes, but with some “front end” work (including contract drafting, negotiation and, advising on procurement strategies) available also.
Our Construction team is highly regarded for its expertise across the WA construction (and related) sectors and is one of the largest in Western Australia. This exceptional opportunity involves working directly with Partners Tom Jacobs, Isla McRobbie, Lauren Cook, Edward Parra and Belinda Wong who are leading practitioners in their field.
We act for a number of major organisations in the industry, and a range of clients including principals, contractors, consultants and government bodies. Our team is collaborative and friendly and enjoys strong links with key bodies such as the Master Builders Association, Civil Contractors Federation, Mining and Resource connections; SOCLA and Consult Australia.
About you
With at least 3 years post-admission experience, you will have experience working on a range of commercial disputes. Experience with disputes in the building, construction and engineering sector is desirable, but by no means essential.
